Three More Inexpensive Anti Skin Aging Strategies

This is a follow-up to my previous Affordable Anti Aging Strategies article that gave a few tips on how you can take care of your skin against skin aging, particularly the premature kind, without breaking the bank. There are actually a lot of legitimate measures or methods that you can adopt to allow you great skin care but without spending too much and these series of articles is intended to present them to readers in bite size chunks.

Skin care is not rocket science. In fact, sometimes, all we need is to go back to basics to increase our chances of treatment success. In the aforementioned article, I mentioned staying away from the UV rays of the sun as one of the simplest yet most important measures you can take in your skin care habits. All that entailed is a simple sunscreen product, a good hat or an umbrella. Definitely a basic thing that can be done but it can mean a great deal in your efforts. Below are a few more tips:

1. Going natural is one of the most neglected skin care strategies. Aside from diet and exercise, you can also use natural products as good intervention. One advice is to get a facial steam bath with natural herbs simmering in the water. This can give an instant boost to your skin vitality.

2. Exfoliation is also one of the inexpensive ways you can maintain skin health. By removing dead skin cells from your skin, you give better chances for new skin cells to be developed. Natural exfoliation should be the preferred option and you can do that simply by gently rubbing your skin with appropriate material like an exfoliating wash or pad. Do not do chemical peels without professional help.

3. Moisturizing your skin regularly will also help a great deal and there are a lot of affordable skin moisturizers out there. You can even make your own moisturizer using ordinary glycerin which acts as a barrier on your skin that prevents moisture loss.

Update: A new post talks about more affordable anti aging skin care products that you could use in your quest.
